This Summer’s Most Anticipated New Music

Summer is officially here! And just as we’ve anticipated warmer temperatures, with new seasons comes new music. Here are some of this season’s most anticipated albums.

1. Tori Kelly’s Unbreakable Smile
Release date: June 23

Queen of acoustics, Tori Kelly is finally releasing her debut album. The album is already receiving buzz due to her single, “Nobody Love” and her recent live performances. And considering her earlier projects, her album can be held with great expectations.

 

2. Florence + the Machine’s How Big How Blue How Beautiful
Release date: June 2

Florence + the Machine are huge, but not simply because of the notoriety of their first projects, but because of their sound. Their sound is big, and this upcoming LP will most likely be too. Known for visually stimulating videos, and heart-wrenching emotion, we should be prepare our hearts, ears and eyes to embark on the artistic journey of this album.

 

3. Miguel’s WildHeart
Release date: June 30

It’s surprisingly been three years since Miguel released his last album, Kalediscope Dreams which contained a numerous amount of hits. He is releasing his new album, WildHeart at the end of this month, and has been dropping big hints about the content. With the release of super-sensual video images and a possibly nude photo for his cover art, WildHeart will sure to be another album for the ladies.

 

4. Hilary Duff’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.
Release date: June 16

When was the last time you were anticipating a Hilary Duff album? Duff hasn’t released an album since her Cheaper By The Dozen days, so Duff fans are amped to hear how this pop artist’s voice and content has matured since then.
