Can classic art go gluten free? You can bet your coeliac stomach ache it can. All it takes is a bit of creativity and a lot of patient photo-shopping.

French graphic designer Arthur Coulet put together the digital Gluten Free Museum as a joke—gently poking fun at the world-wide food trend and growing ailment that plagues the nightmares of restauranteurs everywhere.

Coulet has stripped the breads, grain, and in some cases the tools of such wheat-y themes out of classic paintings, modern photography, and even movie stills.

It’s a grimmer, less tasty world. But now even the most sensitive coeliac’s can feast their eyes on these works of art and not have a reaction.
