What began as an experiment in her own private garden in the countryside of France, soon became Edith Meunier’s career.
Beginning in 1996, the French textile artist started weaving and braiding gift ribbon into intricate and geometric designs that she would display in her garden. From there her sculptures grew in scope and were dotting up all across France.
The installations themselves are only meant to last for a season to demonstrate the fragility of life and the harshness of time.
