Global Band of The Week: London Grammar

If you follow Perspective Daily (which you should), then you might have noticed we featured London Grammar in our Sounds of Summer article.

Well, since I wrote that post I’ve become slightly obsessed with this group. Their mellow, yet complex melodies are haunting and give me hope that talented Trip Hop artists might finally get some mainstream attention in this decade.

London Grammar is lead by the incredible, Hannah Reid, whose voice is otherworldly. Reid’s voice is reminiscent of Annie Lennox with a raw power that the tears through London Grammar’s intricate melodies.

Do yourself a favor and play a little London Grammar with a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. You won’t be sorry.
