Recently, Kelly Clarkson released a video of her covering Rihanna’s single, “B***ch Better Have My Money,” and many were surprised. Here is a list of other artists who have taken the chance of covering other popular songs.

1. “B**ch Better Have My Money” covered by Kelly Clarkson

No one would have expected that out off all of Rihanna’s songs that Kelly Clarkson would choose to cover this explicit song. But to no surprise she does not disappoint. Showing off her bold attitude and power vocals.

2. “Heartless” covered by The Fray

Originally performed by Kanye West, The Fray took this song from a Hip Hop breakup anthem to a soft rock tune. Making the song sound more peaceful and less aggressive.

3. “Pretty Wings” covered by Karina Pasian

Originally sang by R&B artist, Maxwell, Pretty Wings is a nostalgic song about breaking up or any other unnamed relationship issues. An already emotional song, Karina covers the song with her piano playing, a beautiful stroke of genius added to an already brilliant song.

4. “Suit & Tie” covered by Tori Kelly

Tori Kelly received her fame from her notable covers, one of which is Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie.” She takes this pop single and turns it into a coffeehouse tune, changing the lyrics to a female perspective.
